Lous specializes in business law and financial law (banking and securities). She advises multinationals, listed companies, investment companies and investment institutions on the laws and regulations governing securities, corporate governance and compliance. She oversees the legal aspects of financings, stock exchange listings (of shares and bonds, in the Netherlands and abroad), banking licences and advises finance companies.
Lous is a (deputy) member of the Board of Representatives of the Dutch Bar Association. She is a member also of Vereniging voor Effectenrecht (Securities Law Association).
She received a degree in Dutch law (principal study business law) from Leiden University in 1997 and completed the Grotius specialisation course on Financing and Securities in 1998. Lous regularly teaches on a variety of legal subjects.
