Martijn Vermeeren is a lawyer who works in the insolvency practice and advises several companies on this area of law. He is involved as an advisor and receiver in the settlement of insolvency issues, acquisitions, rent, real estate and corporate law disputes and litigation.
After taking his law degree (Dutch law) from Leiden University Martijn Vermeeren joined Buren van Velzen Guelen on 1 January 1997. He completed the Grotius specialisation courses on Insolvency Law and Financial Economics for Receivers. Martijn is a lecturer for VSO in Insolvency Law, co-editor of the syllabus for the training course Basic Insolvency Law and a member of Insolad, the Dutch Association of Insolvency Lawyers.
